EVO Extracts’ revolutionary technology is based on well established engineering principles. Unlike traditional systems which operate under intense pressure and temperature, EVO’s system operates using vacuum technology, which is an absolutely safe, low temperature and much more efficient environment.
It’s also solventless. We don’t mean “solvent-free” because we never use solvents so we don’t have to remove them. We are truly “solventless” because no solvents are used anywhere in our process!
Manufacturers simply take ground-up biomass and feed it into a hopper. The biomass is vaporized and passed through a series of columns and drums, flowing through inert gasses and conveyed along as a thin film on a screw-like mechanism.
EVO Extracts’ processing system generally uses three fraction chambers, and each is set at different temperatures to precisely extract each desired compound from the plant as it goes down the chute.
Typically, the first fraction extracts terpenes, the second extracts THC and the third extracts CBD. However, you can choose to leave all the fractions and produce a full spectrum, pure oil or just remove the THC. The choice is yours.
However, the system is expandable and our future models will allow manufacturers to utilize up to nine temperature-specific chambers to further customize their extraction process. EVO Extracts further aids extractors by providing pre-set recipes to deal with various strains and fraction combinations.
EVO has the environment on its mind! The system is air cooled with only a small amount of recirculated water and is highly power-efficient. The residual, leftover biomass is stripped of all psychoactives, allowing it to be easily disposed of or converted into other products, such as a potent compost.
The machine can process up to 10 pounds of biomass per hour. And what’s more, it can be used to extract essential oils from other plants, such as eucalyptus or pine. This could potentially allow producers to expand into even more product lines.
