Tanja Yardley

Extensively experienced in growing and scaling healthcare and health tech businesses, Tanja Yardley is an entrepreneur who partnered with Brent Armstrong 30 years ago, scaled several startups alongside him, and then moved to Canada’s largest healthcare provider.

At CBI Health Group, Tanja spent more than a decade in a variety of senior roles,  engaging skills in operations and strategic planning to mergers and acquisitions. As CBI’s Provincial Vice President, Tanja doubled their footprint in British Columbia over the span of 5 years, working alongside teams to provide strategies and solutions to countless healthcare business challenges. Many of these solutions involved emerging technologies and Tanja earned a role as CBI’s National Healthcare Innovation Lead.  She became entrenched in Canada’s health technology sector, developing critical skills while analyzing the viability of leading-edge technologies to assess alignment with ethical corporate values, business goals and positive social impact.

Blending experience in  product design, clinical utility and research with her passion for neuroscience, Tanja is  currently consulting as Brain Health Integration Lead in  a biotechnology firm embedded within the largest health-tech innovation hub in western Canada. In this role, she supports innovation across a medical device team, a clinical trials/ research team and a leading edge neuroplasticity clinic.
